There is a special demand for this peda from the people going out of Rampur. Pedas are available at this shop from nine in the morning to twelve at night. Peda is prepared every three hours. Generally peda lasts longer than other sweets. It also does not spoil quickly. You can consume pedas prepared from pure mawa at Mumtaz Sweets even after 15 days. Mawa’s workmanship is done
Mumtaz Bhai says that I guarantee that no confectioner manufacturing company in the entire UP prepares Khoya Peda. To make peda, we specially prepare khoya from home-made milk. After that, add one kg sugar to five kg mawa and fry it on low flame till it gets colour. Due to this, pedas made from khoya become very soft and tasty.
Special attention is paid to purity
Mumtaz Bhai says that due to the purity of the trees, today our trees are liked very much not only in the country but also in foreign countries. The milk used in this is prepared from the milk of buffalo reared in their home. The same milk is used even today. Peda, which was available for just Rs 200 per kg, has today increased from Rs 200 to around Rs 450 due to demand.
